Vaccine Myths - Busted!
We should be vaccinated for two reasons. Firstly, to protect ourselves. Even if you think your chance of getting these diseases are small, the reality is: these diseases still exist and can still infect anyone who is not protected. Second, we should be vaccinated to protect those around us.l A small number of patients cannot be vaccinated for medical reasons, such as a severe allergy to vaccine components. Another small percentage simply do not respond to vaccines. These patients are susceptible to disease, and their only hope of protection is that those around them have been successfully vaccinated.
